A bit of background

Here at Bognor Regis Armed Forces & Veterans Breakfast Club, we know that sometimes all it takes to change the world is a little support. Since our founding, we have been determined to make an impact.

The core of our efforts is to bring our team’s fresh ideas and passion to the range of activities we’re involved in. Through all our endeavours we hope to display the conviction behind our beliefs.

Bognor Regis Armed Forces & Veterans Breakfast Club is the sister venue of Littlehampton Armed Forces & Veterans Breakfast Club.

What we do for veterans

FOOD DONATION DROP-OFF

At Bognor Regis Armed Forces & Veterans Breakfast Club, we are dedicated to stepping up our efforts as/when required. Our historical food donation ‘drop-offs’ were by no means an easy undertaking, but through cooperation and community empowerment we facilitated progress in this area.

We are always striving to make a difference, and invite you to learn more and lend your support.

VETERANS WELFARE

With our organisation’s mission always in mind, we strive to find new strategies for dealing with this challenge and rely greatly on donations. Dealing with veterans’ welfare and homelessness is something that we take very seriously, and our team is working each and every day to make a positive impact.

We also help our veterans with removals and donation collections. Contact us to learn more about our commitment to this cause.

REMEMBRANCE PARADE

At Bognor Regis Armed Forces & Veterans Breakfast Club, remembering those who have fought and fallen, whether in service or not, is something close to every veteran’s heart.

Therefore, we all attend parades whenever and wherever possible, especially the annual Remembrance Parade at the 11th hour on the 11th day of the 11th month to honour their memories. Lest we forget.

ARMED FORCES DAY

Bognor Regis Armed Forces Day is a chance to show your support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community: from currently serving troops to service families, veterans and cadets.

There are many ways for people, communities and organisations across the country to show their support and get involved in the local event. Our veterans attend the parades of the day and we also have a tent you can visit.

ANNUAL ARMY VS NAVY RUGBY UNION MATCH

Every year we obtain tickets to attend the Army-Navy match, the annual rugby union fixture played between the senior XV teams of the Royal Navy and the British Army.

It marks the culmination of the annual inter-services competition and is played at Twickenham Stadium, the home of England Rugby Football Union in south west London.

VISITS AND TALKS

At both our Bognor Regis and Littlehampton venues we occasionally share events with other organisations. These visits may involve a talk/presentation but will always include plenty of time to socialise with friends old and new.

We are always available to offer help and advice in relation to health, welfare and any day-to-day issues that would be made far less burdensome if shared.

SAYING GOODBYE

Saying goodbye and giving our veterans a proper send-off is very important, not just to them but to their families. Remembering them and who they were is a very special moment and honouring them in the correct way is also very important.
